- Also called Purple Willow as new catkins emerge as reddish purple; these are also sought by basket weavers.
- 48” H x 48” W; best to prune regularly as the new catkins have the best color and flowers
- Prefers sandy soil is low areas, can withstand flooding; full sun to partial shade; will grow in poor soil
- Good for nesting birds and very tolerant of deer- let’em munch
