  • Lean, gritty to rocky, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Performs poorly in damp organically rich soil

 

  • Fuzzy, whitish flower heads tinged with pink bloom in spring resembling a cat’s paw

  • Spreads by runners to form a colonized groundcover
