- NATIVE to northern Michigan, this birch is wonderful in a naturalized location or as a specimen in your landscape
- Partial to Full Sun; sandy well-draining soil with consistent moisture. Often found near creeks or river beds
- Grows better in recently disturbed ground rather than older established woods; also found on upland dunes
- 50’ H. Less height if grown in clumps
