  • Tropical Fruit in Northern Michigan? Yes!  A solid Zone 4 plant good down to -25 degrees

 

  • This is a vining plant – needs strong support – fence, pergola, etc. Like most vines needs 5 years to start producing abundant fruit

 

  • Smaller, but sweeter and no fur – eaten like grapes fresh, canned or jelly; harvested in September

 

  • Full Sun; loamy well-draining soil

 

  • MUST have a cross pollinator. This is the female – the fruit producer
