Balloon Flower Fuji Blue

Species: Platycodon grandiflours ‘Fuji Blue’
  • Balloon Buds Burst open to display 2 ½” bell shaped blue flowers

 

  • Be patient in the spring as these won’t set buds until mid to late June

 

  • Once flowering starts, very steady bloomer all season long

 

  • Grow in partial shade to full sun; not fussy on soil, just well-drained

 

  • Cut the whole plant back after first frost

 

  • 20” H x 15” W

 

  • Does not like to be transplanted; best to choose it’s home and leave it; very dependable bloomer year after year
