- Delicious to eat right off the plant and they’re thorn less so easy to be around!
- Vigorous grower, space 3’ to 4’ apart
- Self-pollinator; best fruit comes from new canes that grow each spring
- Pruning old canes to the ground is needed in late fall, very early spring to keep plants healthy and productive
- Prefers full sun and well-draining moist soil that is slightly acidic so good idea to mulch with some peat moss to add acidity to the soil and hold moisture
- Good idea to mulch well to conserve moisture and keep weeds in check
