Species: Betula platyphylla ‘Fargo’
  • Narrow, columnar tree perfect for small spaces and vertical accents

 

  • Developed at the University of North Dakota for extreme cold hardiness and excellent Birch Bore resistance

 

  • Medium to Fast Growing Tree

 

  • Turns golden yellow in the fall. The bark is white and smooth with slight exfoliation when mature

 

  • 30’ H x 10’ W

 

  • Needs consistently moist soils. Benefits greatly from Mulch and consistent irrigation

 

  • Full Sun to Partial shade
