  • Blooms on old wood so any pruning should be done just after plant flowers in the spring

  • Rich woodland soil is best- keep mulched well. Sandy well-draining soil

 

  • Consistent moisture

 

  • Performs especially well on North/East facing slopes with morning sun and late afternoon sun and wind protection
