Hi, my name is Al.

My wife and I have a small local farm, and we grew these mums right here in Northern Michigan.

We’re a little off the beaten path, so rather than selling directly from our farm, we work with our friends at Wild Juniper Nursery to sell our mums.

When you buy one of our mums, it didn’t arrive on a truck from some faraway grower. It was grown locally, by a local farming family.

We live here. We shop here. I might be the guy standing behind you in line at Tom’s. We pay property taxes that help support our local schools, and like a lot of small farmers, we’re working hard to keep our farm going so someday we can pass it on to our son.

That’s why buying local really does matter.

And these mums are FRESH! They’re just beginning to break bud and show color, so you’ll get to enjoy watching them open up instead of buying a plant that’s already been sitting in full bloom for weeks.
