Japanese Stewartia

Japanese Stewartia Heritiage Seedlings

Excited to offer Japanese Stewartia to our tree lineup this Season. You may not know this ornamental tree so let me introduce it to you.

• This rare ornamental tree really does it all! From early Summer Camellia White Flowers to reddish-orange Fall colors! But check out its jigsaw puzzle exfoliating bark for winter interest

• Best grown in evenly moist, organically rich, moderately acidic, well-drained sandy loams in full sun to part shade

• Requires consistent moisture and is intolerant of drought

• Site in a location sheltered from winter winds; SE part of yard would be great

• Can be grown as a single trunk tree or a multibranched shrub

• In tree form, 20’ H x 15’ W
