Hi, I'm Tom Jessmore. I started growing plants for fun and fell in love with it!

Now, my wife, Terri and I grow over 450 varieties of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental trees. We carry a wide selection of NATIVE plants, fruit bearing plants, specialty plants – plants you won’t find at a box store and some Proven Winner varieties. I start thousands of plants each year from cuttings and from seed, and nurture them for several years to grow in our Northern Michigan climate. My plants grow with little to no pesticides. Sun and water are the main ingredients! We welcome both plant people and amateurs. We’re always glad to help you select the right plants for your landscape.
